More on Voting Machines

As NYCO has pointed out, this is a good article on the two options NY is looking at for our new voting machines. Basically there are two types of machines. Ones that leave a paper trail and ones that don't. Without a paper trail you are going to be touching your choice on a computer screen, a record of your vote will go into a hard drive somewhere and then you have to hope for the best. Lobbyists are battling hard on both sides. I'm sure they are looking out for your best interests.

It's the 21st century. You'd think we could find a way to have reliable voting machines that could be verified in a recount, wouldn't you?
