Sweeney Targeted on Social Security

According to a press release a pro social security coalition has targeted John Sweeney (R-NY) on the issue of social security reform. The group is called In This Together and they are asking for Sweeney to hold a town hall style meeting so they can hear his views on social security reform and they can present him with theirs. These town hall meetings haven't been going so well for other Republicans so it will be interesting if Sweeney rises to the challenge and does his President's bidding and supports the privitization of social security or if he ducks the issue and tries to stay off the record about his support for the plan.

In This Together also notes that the President's plan (or what there is of the plan) would result in $152,000 less in savings for today's 20 year olds.
